Greenwood Lake, NY

Greenwood Lake

Greenwood Lake stretches for six to nine miles, depending on who you ask. This glassine lake supports every water sport you can think of – swimming, diving, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, and boating by sail, canoe, kayak, paddle, motor, row, and skull.

Extending from New York to New Jersey, it was historically a resort community and playground for celebrities – Cecil B. deMille, Babe Ruth, Derek Jeter, and many more. Offering adventure, fun, and relaxation, Greenwood Lake and the Warwick Valley have everything you could want for a weekend or a week: entertainment, night life, antiquing, a wine trail, outdoor concerts, festivals, boutiques, eateries, outdoor recreation, and so much more.
